The park closed in 1978 but still lives in our hearts and minds.

This group is to trade information about memories of Chippewa Lake Park, Ohio. Anyone with information about the park from the past, present, or future is welcome here. Although restoration of the parks and/or rides is a noble goal, it is beyond the scope of this group to engage in this activity. Postings giving information about restoration/renovation contacts are welcome, but members need to pursue this activity on their own time. Group postings can also include discussions relating to other parks or facilities and their renovations.

Please note: ENTRY INTO THE PARK IS ILLEGAL. IT IS PRIVATELY OWNED. ANYONE TRYING TO ENTER THE PROPERTY IS SUBJECT TO VIOLATION OF TRESPASSING LAWS! Tours are being given at certain times, but other than those times, you are trespassing if you enter the property.

The moderator must approve all new memberships. This is because spammers are not welcome in our group. When you apply, you will get a request for a little bit of information as to why you'd like to join. It doesn't have to be lengthy - just something to show genuine interest in the park.
