The Charlton County Freecycle™ group is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too!

One main rule: everything posted must be free. This group is part of The Freecycle Network™, a nonprofit organization and a movement of people interested in keeping good stuff out of landfills. The main Freecycle rules:

1) KEEP IT FREE, LEGAL APPROPRIATE FOR ALL AGES. This means, for example, no Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms or Drugs, legal or otherwise. Two strikes and you're outa the group.

2) SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR POSTS. Use these phrases to make it easy for others to delete or view. A brief item description and general location

OFFER: love seat

TAKEN: love seat

WANTED: love seat,(One per week, limit of 3 items per Wanted) [Please use this sparingly and don't offer money or request money]

3) PLEASE DO NOT POST THE SAME "WANTED" POSTING MORE THAN ONCE A MONTH. Also, when posting a wanted, please just ask! Freecycle is not a charity and doesnt play on members sympathy. The beauty of this is you can just ask, no excuses neccesary!

4) NO POLITICS, NO SPAM, NO MONEY, NO PERSONAL ATTACKS/RUDENESS,NO RELIGION. Two strikes you're out, i.e. you will be unsubscribed by the moderator after two inappropriate postings,possibly one depending on severity.

We ask that you please wait 24 hours before posting a taken or giving the item away. This is to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance.
