This list is for the parents and children who are adopting, have adopted, or have been adopted from Jilin Province in The People's Republic of China.

It is also a forum to be used for the benefit of our children, as their lives are intricately woven into our own, as well as the children who are left behind.

Jilin in Chinese means ["Ji" = "lucky" "Lin" = "forest"] Jilin thus means "lucky forest." Manchu words Jilin Wula means along the river of Song Hua Jiang(Sungari). The Manchu people called this province Jilin and left off the word Wula.
