When your life involves the military you are bound to spend some time alone. When my boyfriend went away for the first time I didn't know a whole lot of people where I lived. Luckily my family was only a few hours away. What if you don't have family close by? What if you haven't met anyone in your neighbourhood? It's hard to make new friends, especially as an adult. December 2008 Update: This group is for all intents and purposes, inactive. Most of the members meet on Facebook now. If you are looking for military spouses do a search on Facebook for groups, there are quite a few. I'm almost sure there will be someone to answer your questions there. Thank you for understanding.
