Description

The Cayuga Trails Club of Central New York was founded in 1962 to explore, enjoy, and preserve wild lands and places of natural beauty and interest through informal study of the natural and historical features of the out-of-doors. The CTC organizes hikes and other outdoor activities, maintains 75 miles of the Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) system, publishes a guidebook and detailed maps to those trails, hosts social and educational events, and more.

Visit the CTC website at cayugatrailsclub.org for a listing of Club activities and events. Events arranged through this discussion group are informal and are not activities of the Cayuga Trails Club.

The orange-blazed Van Lone Hill Loop Trail is open for adoption. This 2.5 mile trail connects on both ends with the main Finger Lakes Trail between Gulf Road

An adopter is needed for a white-blazed section of the FLT in Danby (M17). This newly re-opened trail section runs south and east from Bruce Hill Rd.
