This group is intended to be a peaceful, safe meeting place for all types of Catholics including: Anglican, Episcopal, Independent Catholic, Lutheran, Orthodox, Roman, etc. By "Catholic" we truly mean 'universal', that is, all sacramental groups.

Our intention is to form loving community and sharing that dissolves party lines, gives moral support to one another, promotes life-long learning, and furthers spiritual development.

"Catholic Universal" is a moderated list that will not tolerate trolls or bigots. Those who join us are agreeing to behave in a 'Christian' manner toward one another. We require a full name and state (or country if outside the US) as part of your profile. It is also assumed that by joining this group one agrees to honor the intellectual properties of scholars by seeking permission to use another's work and citing authorship when authorized material is used. Additionally, all posts that appear on this 'members only' list are privileged and may not be shared with others without explicit written permission of all parties involved.
