CARCINOID is a moderated, educational discussion list for patients and/or their immediate family, researchers, and physicians, to discuss clinical, nonclinical issues and advances pertaining to Carcinoid Cancer. This includes patient experiences, hormone induced psychological issues, new research, clinical trials, and discussions of current treatment practices. The listowner, conscious of the limited time medical professionals can spend online, has created this list to help those professional subscribers gain information from the body of listmembers on common complaints, side effects of the carcinoid syndrome, sandostatin, serotonin, and other treatments and diagnostic tests.
