Welcome to the CANDYMAN GENEALOGY Group. This list was started by some Gen-Newbie members who were very concerned about someone who had helped us so much and was very ill. So many messages flew back and forth on Gen-Newbie that it was suggested we start our own list. Our list got it's name from Norbert's CB "handle", which is Candyman. Several other lists have been
started from Candyman and we are proud of all of them. We help with genealogy and computer questions and try to provide quality resources.

Our offshoot lists include Genie-Angels (Genealogy only), CandymanPrayers, Veterans_Wives-Families (Support for Vets and their friends and family), and RecipesBetweenFriends, all at yahoogroups.com. We are a FAMILY of FRIENDS. Please join us.

This list is dedicated to both Norbert Ballauer, the original Candyman, and to the late Gus "Sarge" Carroll, owner of Candyman Genealogy for many years. Gus is sorely missed.
