Welcome to Cambuslang Genes.
I created this list simply because so many of the families in this area intermarried in more than one generation. And because of the "Scottish naming patterns", the same names are often repeated in several branches of each generation. In my own family history I have seen this time and again.
I wanted to have a place where we can post questions, information, tips, photos, locations and reference information, along with genealogies and other information that might be of help to each other with our searches in the Cambuslang area.
