The sun "just" came out w/ the bluest of skies. Wind is firing on all
cylinders.  OB is blasting & the Bay will soon feel it, too!

Happy Holidays & enjoy the storm sailing!

Aloha, Royce

For those of you that didn't go to Half Moon Bay or the soutehrn Coast for
windsurfing.  3 kiters spotted at Pacheco/Quintara Street breaks at Ocean
Beach's Great Highway.  The surf is knarly but they make it look easy in the
waves & storm.  Coming down hard, hailing, I hope those guys get in & go to the
Beach Chalet Brewery or for Mexican at Noriega Street instead.  They are still
out, must be blowing!

I have an old ultracat but it's not ridable at the moment. Straps are toast,
split open rail, not sure if I have any foils or base. $4000 and it's yours (ok,
I'm negotiable on price :)

Dennis was telling me he saw some stock windsurfers on craig's list. They are
also going back into production. Honest.

I think Heinekin has some equipes.

Because of a favorable early wind forecast the race will start Saturday,
December 5, 2009, 9:00 am. It's a good idea to arrive early (7:30 am), to get an
easy parking spot at South Beach City of Fort Lauderdale Lot, and to get rigged
and ready for the 9 a.m. start.

Ron;

I'll be thinking about you.  Hope you have good conditions.

We had epic northerlies on saturday, the delta was gusting over 50s, Gary and
I got a couple hours at Pt Emery overpowered on 4.7s

I trust you had a good holiday.  Our daughter and son-inlaw announced that they
are returning to the west coast.  He landed a job with Northrup-Grumman.  They
move in 2 weeks and will be here for Christmas.

I just love the Bay!  Not now (too cold), but I think it is an awesome place to
sail.  Now Dean is a super Ultra Marathoner & doing well last I heard from
him.  During that time Brad Duffy was one of the fastest guys on the water;
ASD, CFX slalom boards ( I am sure he can step on the gas) with today's gear.
Ian, all them guys. This brought back memories, thanks Nick!  We need to
somehow get you back over the Pond.

Just one of those sunny days at Crissy under the Bridge, ahhhhhh!

Everyone have a great Thanksgiving.

Our brother, Tim Thole, asked me to e-mail you all to tell you that his lovely
wife just gave birth to a 7 pound boy Sunday! His name, Kiran Ming Thole.  He
doesn't have access to e-mail for a few days, so he asked me to push this out.

Congrats to your & your new addition!  Cheers!

11M FW for me & Soheil, 10M.  As I was leaving Jean went out & so did StevieB on
his 9M slalom.  I think, one more day, Sunday.  Get there about 1:30pm-2pm,
picks up from there.  It actually looked dead, sailboats not keeling over, but I
found out otherwise, planed off the beach.  Wind all the way up to the GGBridge.

Sunny & warmish.

Ocean Beach & the Great Highway looked clean all day for you surfers out there!

Breakfast/coffee at the Ocean Beach area, go for a surf session, get over to
Crissy to sail just past lunch!

Hope this helps to plan for the rest of the weekend!
