The junior windsurfing ombudsman  (Dennis Deisinger) at StFYC asked me to post

The club planted the seeds for the
next generation for boardheads last year and now we are reaping what we
sowed by hosting the Techno 293 Jr. North American Championships July
29-31.  We have teams of 12-17yr olds coming from as far a way
as Mass., FL and Mex to test their metal against our bay.
 
Some of these sailors will
be heading from SFO to the UK for the Techno Worlds in Aug...  And
after that they may come back and test the formula fleet!
 
To help the kids have a great
reagatta we need volunteers for race committe and chase boats.  Having
seasoned boardsailers would be a plus because you guys/gals will be
able help make sure we have fair courses and spot potential problems
that us boardheads run into on the bay.
 
We need people on the 29-30-31st.  You can help morning/midday and still get out
for an afternoon sailing session!
 
Remember, these are the guys and girls that are going to buy your old stuff - so
you gotta bring them along...
