Description
WHAT DO THE LETTERS CWG STAND FOR? Christian Writers' Group. Our full title is CWG South Africa, because we began our existence as an offshoot of CWG, an international group predominantly made up of Americans. They have since changed their name to CWGI.
WHEN DID WE BEGIN? The first e-mails were posted on 10th March 2004.
WHAT ARE WE: We are a discussion list for published or aspiring born-again writers who live in, or are from, South Africa.
WHY ARE WE HERE? We exist to share ideas, tips, conference/seminar information, encouragement, support, and prayer requests.
HOW DO WE DO THIS? Through e-mail communication, a monthly on-line writing course, devotions for writers and a critique group for members are among the activities of this growing group.
DO I HAVE TO BE ON-LINE? You need Internet connection to send and receive e-mail. That's all. You don't need to work on-line.
IS THERE STILL ROOM? We are a growing group and there is always room for one more.
DO I HAVE TO WRITE FOR CHRISTIAN MARKETS? What you write is entirely up to you. If you are sincere about your relationship with the Lord, your writing will reflect your faith.
HOW EXPERIENCED SHOULD I BE? Whether you merely have a dream in your heart of becoming a writer, or if you are a multi-published author, you are welcome to join. All we ask is that you are a committed Christian who desires to write.
