Description
Christian Writers' Group International, Inc. (CWGI) is a free nonprofit organization for aspiring and published born-again Christian writers (editors and publishers) to share ideas, tips, conference/seminar/market information, encouragement, support, prayer, and critique. We sometimes sponsor writing conference scholarships. We are based in the United States and have an international reach including a sister organization in South Africa called CWG_SAfrica. CWGI, formerly called Christian Writers' Group (CWG), was founded February 3, 1997 by Lisa Wiener. It is run today by a Board of Directors and Executive Director Brandy Brow. |

CWGI recommends The Writers View (advanced writers) and The Writers View 2 (beginner/intermediate writers),
topic-driven groups with panelists comprised of industry professionals.
Grouply.com violates CWGI membership. Grouply users will be removed.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE: After our name change in June 2007, someone assumed our former CWG yahoo group name. Long-time members may think they have been removed from our group if they post using the old CWG address, which will create a bounce notice with subscription instructions for the other group. Please check your address books to make sure the email address contains CWGI, not CWG.
