    Christian Writers' Group International, Inc. (CWGI) is a free nonprofit organization for aspiring and published born-again Christian writers (editors and publishers) to share ideas, tips, conference/seminar/market information, encouragement, support, prayer, and critique. We sometimes sponsor writing conference scholarships.

    We are based in the United States and have an international reach. (South African writers, see CWOSA.)

    CWGI, formerly called Christian Writers' Group (CWG), was founded February 3, 1997 by Lisa Wiener. It is run today by a Board of Directors and Executive Director Brandy Brow.

CWGI recommends The Writers View (advanced writers) and The Writers View 2 (beginner/intermediate writers),
topic-driven groups with panelists comprised of industry professionals.


Grouply.com violates CWGI membership. Grouply users will be removed.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE: After our name change in June 2007, someone assumed our former CWG yahoo group name. Long-time members may think they have been removed from our group if they post using the old CWG address, which will create a bounce notice with subscription instructions for the other group.
