Description
Christian Writers' Group International, Inc. (CWGI) is a free nonprofit organization for aspiring and published born-again Christian writers. (Editors and publishers also welcome.) It is based in the United States and has an international reach including a sister organization in South Africa called CWG_SAfrica. We share ideas, tips, conference/seminar information, encouragement, support, prayer, critique, and sometimes sponsor writing conference scholarships. CWGI, formerly called Christian Writers' Group, or CWG, was founded February 3, 1997 by Lisa Wiener. It is run today by a Board of Directors and executive director Brandy Brow. |

Grouply.com violates CWGI membership. Grouply users will be removed.
*IMPORTANT MEMBERS NOTICE: After our name change in June 2007, someone apart from us assumed our former CWG yahoo group name. Long-time members may think they have been removed from our group if they forgot to update their address book and post using the old CWG address. This creates a bounce notice with subscription instructions for the other group saying you must subscribe to post messages. Doing so adds you to the other group with our former name. I've tried to work with the alternate CWG owner to prevent this, but without success. Please check your address books.
