Although all our children are special, some children truly have needs which greatly affect their physical, social, emotional and intellectual life to the point where "normal" development is difficult. This can be hard on the child and on the family.

Is there interest in having a special list, or an occasional parent meeting, for homeschooling families of kids with special needs? We could arrange speakers, or just share our own successes and challenges.

We are families living in Albemarle County, Virginia, and surrounding counties including Greene, Louisa, Fluvanna, Nelson, Augusta, and the cities of Charlottesville and Waynesboro.
