For those interested in City of Bellingham transportation project
funding for the next six years:

A Public Hearing on the DRAFT 2008 - 2013 TIP will be held at 7:00 pm
on May 7, 2007 in City Council chambers and the Bellingham City
Council must adopt and submit the 2008 - 2013 TIP to the State of
Washington before July 1, 2007.

Of special note, 71% of the total funding and 30% of the projects in
the DRAFT 2008 - 2013 TIP are for multi-modal capital improvement
projects that include facilities for all transportation modes. An
additional 20% of the total funding and 60% of the projects are
exclusively for bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
