The CSU Alumni of Silicon Valley is an informal club for alumni and educators of oldest California State University (CSU) campus, located in San Jose, California (a.k.a. "San Jose State"), founded May 2, 1862. The purpose of the group is to (1) restore the rights of CSU graduates in San Jose to use the CSU name to market their degrees, which requires the University's recognition and promotion of its CSU identity, (2) promote mutual support and networking among our alumni, (3) foster communication about how to continually improve the California State University campus in San Jose, its image and reputation, and the prospects of its graduates.
