The Central Savannah River Area Radio Amateur Group (CSRA_RAG) is dedicated to promoting closer communication and sharing of amateur radio knowledge and technique among amateur radio enthusiasts in the GA/SC CSRA.

Membership is free and available to licensed Amateurs in this area. Postings by representatives of area Amateur Radio Clubs announcing meetings, activities or other events are encouraged. Non-licensed persons can read postings at the Yahoo groups website.

The goals of the CSRA Radio Amateur Group are:

To provide an efficient means of disseminating amateur radio news, announcements, and event information,

To promote the activities, newsletters, events, and meetings of ALL participating radio clubs,

To encourage better communication and coordination among local radio clubs, and,

To foster positive discussions of news and topics relating to amateur radio, including, but not limited to, DXing, contesting, digital modes and technology, homebrewing, antennas, portable operation, VHF and UHF, repeaters, satellite communication, fox hunting, and other Amateur Radio topics.

POSTING GUIDELINES:

When posting a message please follow the courtesy and spirit of Amateur Radio.

Do not post copyrighted material without the author's permission.

Please avoid off topic or inappropriate posts.

Profanity, personal attacks, racial, sexist, or ethnic slurs, or any form of harassment or defamation will not be tolerated.

A reasonable number of private, for sale announcements of amateur radio equipment is acceptable.

Discussion about any topic relating to amateur radio is encouraged.

Violators of these Guidelines may be suspended or banned. Membership is at the sole discretion of the list owner or moderator and may be denied or terminated at anytime without notice.
