Journal Seeks Poetry and Prose from Indiana Writers
Ichabod's Sketchbook invites you to submit to our second issue which will be
released in 2010. This literary journal comes out of Irvington, an area of
Indianapolis rich in the arts, and is open for submissions from established and
emerging poets/writers who live in Indiana.
You may submit up to 3 poems (up to 30 lines each) or
2 short stories (up to 1000 words each) for a reading fee of $15.
The following information should be included with your submission:
Name
Address
Phone No.
Email address
Specification of works as prose or poems
How many
List of the titles of your work
Please cut and paste your work into emails
and include the following information in the subject line:
Your name
The word "Submission"
The number of prose or poems - i.e. Smith, Submission: 2 poems
Send all submissions to: <ichabodssketchbook(at)gmail.com> (Replace at with @).
If you are submitting both genres, those should be in separate emails.
All work will be judged blindly. If any work submitted is that of a student,
former or present, or a friend or colleague of one of the co-editors, they
will remove themselves from judging those particular pieces.
All work will be considered as long as it is the best quality and contains
nothing that could be considered pornographic or erotic in nature.
