This group is for supporters of Chihuahua Rescue & Transport (CRT) and those who would like to learn more about living with some of the greatest little dogs in the world. If you are a backyard breeder, puppy miller or broker, or breed indiscriminately, this is not the group for you. Advertising of dogs for sale is not allowed in this group.
We are dedicated to rescue, adoption, & medical care of stray & homeless Chihuahuas in need, and to help control the growing overpopulation through spaying/neutering all dogs in our care. Our purpose is to extend public education & awareness regarding abuse & neglect.

Here's an all-time favorite picture of mine. That's my former foster, Frye, with his head in the toy box while his sister, Daisy, encourages him to keep digging for their favorite toys. Frye came to us as a rescue from our local shelter. He was dirty and frightened when he came to our home. He'd spent much of his life outside in the weather and didn't know about how a chi is supposed to live.

After 10 months in our foster home he was adopted by a wonderful couple who already had Daisy, a pom/chi cross. As you can tell, Frye and Daisy look like real siblings. Well, at least the back half...hard to tell when Frye's head is down in the toy box, isn't it?

I've been lucky enough to see Frye in the 2 1/2 years since his adoption. He adores his sister Daisy and his mom & dad. They all adore him, too. He has the kind of home that all dogs deserve.
