Subject: [CRRA2008Conf] 2009 CRRA Conference Planning Begins - meeting next week

Yes, it's that time again!  Time to begin planning for CRRA's 2009 Annual Conference and Tradeshow, Scheduled for August 2-5, 2009 at the beautiful Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage (Palms Springs/Coachella Valley)

CRRA would like to encourage those of you interested in helping plan this event to get involved with the conference planning committee.  There are over 15 committees that you can get involved with so you can participate in an area of planning that you are most interested and passionate about.

The planning committee meets monthly, primarily via teleconference, although a handful of face to face meetings will take place in the Coachella Valley. 

This first meeting will take place on Monday, October 20, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rancho Las Palmas Resort, located at 41000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92270.  The meeting will start with a 45 minute tour of the facility at 9:15, followed by a one-hour meeting to go over general conference planning and set a time for our monthly meetings.

If you can not make the meeting in person, there is also the option to participate via teleconference. Please respond to Judi if you plan to attend, or if you will be participating via teleconference, and you will receive a call-in number.

CRRA looks forward to planning a wonderful event for it's first ever conference in the Palm Springs area and we hope that you'll be part of the planning process.
