KLSD 1360 was San Diego's first taste of what 24/7 Progressive Talk could be. Combining local and national hosts, it was a good beginning that met an ignoble end.
But we have just begun.
In Phoenix, they said "nobody" could bring Progressive Talk back when their first Air America affiliate was pulled off the air.
Repeat after me: "Hello, my name is Nobody".
In Columbus, the common wisdom was that "nobody" cared enough about Progressive Talk to do what it took to see it return.
Repeat after me: "Hello, my name is Nobody".
In San Diego, Clear Channel thought they could replace Progressive Talk quietly, with "nobody" getting upset and fighting back.
Repeat after me: "Hello, my name is Nobody".
And now, they again think that "nobody" is going to bring Progressive Talk back to San Diego.
It is time for all of us "Nobody"s to stand again, and do what it takes to show them just what "Nobody" can do.
