CPRNews is an announcements-only mailing list for news and events relating to reform of San Antonio's animal control and welfare policy and practice.

Citizens for Pound Reform (CPR) proposes uniting San Antonio area citizens and animal welfare groups for the purpose of changing current city Animal Control (aka The Pound) policies that needlessly lead to the deaths of thousands of adoptable pets each year. On a broader scale, it also includes educational outreach and activities in the community where the problems originate.
