Citizens for Pound Reform (CPR), formerly CPAC, proposes uniting San Antonio area citizens and animal welfare groups for the purpose of changing current city Animal Control (aka The Pound) policies that needlessly lead to the deaths of thousands of adoptable pets each year. On a broader scale, it also includes educational outreach and activities in the community where the problems originate.

Posts should follow the guidelines below:

1) Attack problems, not people. Personal criticisms should be directed to the parties in private, off list. This board is not meant to be a stage for airing personal insults, slights, allegations, etc.

2) In general, emails should not be forwarded to this board. If there is something you wish to share that was not originally written to the board, you can send it to the Steering Committee for evaluation, or ask the author to forward it to the board. For articles, post the link.

3) Messages from members who choose not to respect the above guidelines will require moderator approval. Though all opinions are welcomed, not all topics are appropriate for this board. We regret that topics that very obviously do not pertain to this board's purpose will have to be deleted, and we will indicate that we are doing so for that reason. Please note that deletion has nothing to do with whether we personally agree with the post or not.
