Christian Parents ~ Special Kids began and continues to operate as an email list-serve. We are currently hosted by Yahoo groups. We have approximately 225 member families from the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia, Denmark and Japan.

Our families have been built through birth, adoption and foster care. We have two parent homes and single parent homes. Some of our families home school their children with special needs while others do not. Our children have disabilities that range from the more common, such as ADHD, Cerebral Palsy and seizure disorders, to some very rare genetic disorders. The one thing that we all have in common is our desire to be Godly parents wholly committed to serving God through our parenting efforts.

While we represent many different denominations our faith in Jesus Christ unites us as we endeavor to support each other through encouragement, prayer, the bearing of one another's burdens, the sharing of experiences and the joy of laughter.
