CMHomeschools is a local support group of Charlotte Mason Homeschoolers which meets in the NW FL area. This group is only open to local members in our support group area. Moderator approval MUST be obtained before joining this group, so please specify where you live when you request membership.

We meet monthly, in either Niceville or Crestview FL, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. Our meetings include a study time in which a topic, related to Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education, is taught and discussed in the group. Please contact the moderator for an updated schedule of topics or meeting locations.

A purely CM style of education is NOT required to attend our meetings. We welcome anyone interested in learning more about Charlotte Mason's philosophy of education!

We are currently doing a study of Volume 6 from CM's Original Series. Since our meetings are based upon a teaching format, we ask that moms bring only nursing infants to our meetings, so that other mothers may be able to focus on the topics under discussion.

You will meet with other local homeschoolers, who have similar values and goals, and desire to learn more about the CM philosophy of education. CMHomeschool's educational meetings are filled with quality teaching, discussions, and best of all ... questions related to CM education are welcomed!

You will be encouraged and equipped to continue in your daily efforts to provide a CM education in your homeschool!

On this yahoo group, memebers are welcomed to ask questions, sell living books and curricula (CM-friendly, of course!)and arrange rides to meetings. In addition, they will receive updated reminders of the CMHomeschools meetings.
