Hi, I have surfed around and strangely enough there isn't a single list that caters the learning of the Chinese language. Hence this list is now set up for foreigners who would like to learn about the Chinese language and culture.
It is a discussion and help list for beginners to advance learners of Chinese. Other than Mandarin Chinese (Pu Tong Hua), the list moderators are also well versed in Cantonese, English, French and German. The learning of the language is incomplete without the understanding of the culture. Thus the list also entails discussions and posts in history and traditions of Chinese Culture in a casual and light-hearted manner.
