We had a great time at the K of C hall in Center Line. We were able to talk
with each other. The disk jockeys started with soft old music but got louder.
Some people danced. A photographer was there and took individual portraits and
tables and people talking. There were displays on tables. There was a memorium
board. See fotos of these things at macombhistory.us the Center Line Class
Information page. I can put you in touch with the photographer who probably
would be glad to sell you a DVD with all fotos. (darn, I do not get any
commission) Oz Grobbel, Art Snook and Mr Hatch were there. The only
disappointment was to see how old we all became in our looks, but everyone was
still young at heart. It appeared even the non class member spouses had a good
time. The food was good. Comment renting a hall like this or a VFW is a lot
cheaper than the commercial halls. This was only $40 per person. Well worth it
most of us thought. Some folks dressed up some wore blue jeans. Dress didn't
matter. Snobs did not appear.
