Just a little reminder that we have a quiz tomorrow on Chapters 1 and 2 in
Wheelock.

(1)  Vocabulary
(2)  Verb forms (imperative, infinitive, indicative).  I will give you the Latin
word.  You will tell me its person (if any), number (if any) and mood (mode). 
Remember, infinitives do not have person or number.
(2)  First declension nouns

The quiz will be given in the last fifteen minutes of class.

I will not be able to make it to class today.  As I was leaving my apartment, I
tripped and fell down a flight of steps.  I may have twisted my ankle and I hurt
my wrist.

Please do the Wheelock WORKBOOK exercises for Chapter IX to turn in.

Mementote.  We will have a quiz in class tomorrow.  Chapters 1-10.  Vocabulary, 
Conjugations 1-4,  demonstratives and nine irregular adjectives.

Regrettably, very regrettably,  Dr. Adams is having another bout of the flu, 
which has chosen the lower intestinal tract as its point of attack.  There can
be no class today.  I will definitely see you all on Wednesday.  Despite the
fact that it is the day before a holiday, there will be a class meeting.

We will also be doing presentations.  So everyone should be working to finish
your project.

It grieves me to have to tell you that the quiz that I announced last Wednesday,
when I showed you the study page for Principal Parts:

WILL have to take place tomorrow (Wednesday, December 5).  It is the
next-to-last class, and you cannot give an exam on the last day of class.  So
tomorrow it is.

The quiz will be in the form of a grid,  like the study sheet, but with
individual items left out here and there, which you will have to supply, for
example:  DO  ________,  _________, DATUS-A-UM.  Also you will have to know the
basic meaning of the verb, "to do".

You already know most of this, if you have been studying the vocabulary for each
lesson.  We will only test Chapters 1-12.
