Re: Cardinal Vidal on ther RH bill

BobK,

I have read the article on abortion in Reuters that you passed along. It's,
indeed, a very tragic situation for women.

of thousands....using homemade concoctions and the like. If you google "abortion
in Phillipines", you will find many infos about this. It is estimated that over
400,000 abortions are done in the Philippines and it will get worse if the
"church" has its way.

will be given as freebies and then the Satanic act of abortion would be the next
fad.

in anticipation of the conjugal act, or in its accomplishment, or in the
development of its natural consequences, proposes, whether as an end or as a
means, to render procreation impossible" (14). Such an action actively
eliminates or withholds the procreative good of the marital act. This is sinful
because "every marriage act must remain open to the transmission of life" (11).
Since one of the two ends of sexual intercourse is procreation (the other being
unity between husband and wife, 12), engaging in sex while deliberately
frustrating the procreative end is, as Pope John Paul II has repeatedly called
it, "a lie in the language of the body."
