Welcome to Christian Homeschoolers in Southern Maryland!

This group is dedicated to Christians who are homeschooling in Maryland in Charles, Prince George's, St. Mary's, Calvert and Anne Arundel Counties.

The groups purpose is to support each other through issues that affect us as Christian homeschoolers regardless of homeschooling method. For an example of methods:

Part-time homeschooling

or a combination of the above

It doesn't matter if you:

Make your own curriculum
Use prepared material
Computer homeschooling
Ambleside Online

Or any combination above

We will seek to support each other through email, various activities created by others and created by our members and hopefully by developing personal relationships offline that will help strenghthen our position as Christians.

We are non-denominational in scope. Non-Christians are permitted as long as they understand that the owner/moderator and list members are mainly Christians and will speak from that world view.

We hope to be and remain a sister group to SMHN by continuing to participate in functions including Mom's Night Out, Art classes and other mainstream activities.
