The CGNA holds monthly public meetings at the Hannah Senesh Community Day School, 342 Smith St. Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month in the Library on the Main Floor from 7:00-9:00PM.

The CGNA listserv is an all volunteer community forum serving Carroll Gardens residents, friends and fans. Everyone from the neighborhood - renters, owners, business owners and others who work here - are welcome.
This is a loosely moderated group, staffed by experienced volunteer moderators, residents of Carroll Gardens.
When subscribing to the CGNA Yahoo group, you specifically agree to the rules and guidelines below:
1. Membership in this group is open, subject to verification of each new subscriber's identity and residence or business address to protect against spam intruders.
2. The focus of the group will be directly (and hopefully, exclusively) connected to our neighborhood. We anticipate the range of discussion to include: land use; city services; community events and gatherings, and limited LOCAL commercial announcements (but each member gets NO MORE THAN TWO such posts a month). This list is not all inclusive; it is merely a sample of the intended scope of our discussions.
3. The moderator is here to protect everyone's right to be heard in a civil, responsible manner and does not edit the content of the post. S/he keeps the information relevant to Carroll Gardens and makes sure messages avoid extraneous internet ads, long "me too" replies with other posts attached and profane or otherwise patently offensive language.
In extraordinary circumstances, the moderator may return any post that contains inappropriate messages in tone or content before it is posted and ask the writer to re-frame it. If any post violates these rules, its author will initially be warned; but repeated abuses will result in removal from the group.
