The purpose of this group is to share information with members of the Central Georgia Amateur Radio Club. We post information relating to club meetings/other club activities here. The 'FILES' section is used to store documents of interest to all club members.

Members are encouraged to use this group to post questions pertaining to amateur radio, operating activities, equipment repair, wanted/for sale, etc. In the spirit of amateur radio, please do not post messages containing offensive language or controversial topics. Items listed for sale or wanted must be related to amateur radio.

New membership is limited to CGARC members.

Email attachments are not allowed, however you may post information to files/photos/links areas of this group for all members to share.

CGARC is the oldest amateur radio club in Warner Robins/Houston County & sponsors the Frank King Memorial Repeater on 146.85 (-600 Hz, no tone) in Warner Robins and the NM4W Repeater on 145.11 (-600 Hz, no tone) in Cochran . Our Echolink Node is N4CI-R (Node 311671).

CGARC meets at the First Christian Church, 100 N Houston Rd, Warner Robins, GA on the second Thursday of each month. Social Hour is at 6:30 PM and the business meeting begins at 7:30 PM.

VE testing is conducted prior to each meeting starting at 6:30 PM. Contact Scott, N4CI for more information.

CGARC sponsors the CENTRAL GEORGIA ARES NET on Mondays at 7:00 PM on the 145.11 repeater and the CENTRAL GEORGIA VHF NET on Tuesdays at 8:30 PM on the 146.85 repeater. Please join us.
