Description
Event processing is technology that can process streams of events and discover complex patterns among multiple streams of event data. This technology is referred to as Event Processing, Stream Processing, Complex Event Processing (CEP), and Event Stream Processing (ESP). This eGroup has been set up to create a community around event processing technology. It was co-founded by David Luckham of Stanford University, the author of "The Power of Events," and Mark Palmer, general manager of Progress Apama, an event processing software vendor. For basic information on event processing, visit the "links" area on this site, David's CEP site at www.complexevents.com or Mark's event processing blog at http://apama.typepad.com.
