This is a Christian based list for homeschoolers in, or moving to, the Charlotte, NC, area. This networking group is for ALL Christians and anyone else willing to stay within our guidelines. There is no specific doctrine or creed for this group and diverse Christian viewpoints are both allowed and welcomed.

This list exists for several purposes. The first is to serve as an unofficial "bridge" between the many individual Christian support group 'members only' lists. A second is to provide resources for new homeschoolers and homeschoolers moving into the area as well as existing homeschoolers.

There is posting of events and activities as well as discussions. Posts asking for help in areas of interest to homeschoolers also allowed, please mark them OT. Buy/sell posts of homeschool materials allowed at this time. Again, please mark them as such. Mking your subjects lines very descriptive helps everyone.

This tends to be a high volume list. You may want to receive it in digest form, read it at the website, or create a special folder in your email program so that it does not clog up your inbox. Because we cover the entire greater Charlotte area, please include an area in the subject line when posting activities.

Messages will be moderated. No spamming, flaming, bad language or adult content will be allowed although there may be discussions of a mature nature within the context of homeschooling. No cutesy forwards on a daily basis though some special forwards may be allowed. Keep discussions related to homeschooling on some level and take threads that become private personal chats offlist. Just be courteous and thoughtful and treat others as you would like to be treated.
