Description
The California Central Coast Modular On30 goal is to have fun building and operating an On30 modular railroad. The railroad, is a freelanced railroad with no specifics other than being narrow gauge and the locale being Central California, the time period being sometime just after WWI to shortly after WWII.
In the spirit of "We don't need no stinkin' standards!" and the reality that these modules need to somehow connect, the modular standards are based on adaptations of the Texas Outlaw standards, with further input from the Narragansett Bay Railway & Navigation Module group, the On30 Gang, the files on On30 Modules, and inspiration from the Yosemite Short Line.
We have regular sub-group 'get-togethers' in locations south of San Jose, in Pleasanton, and a new group in Hanford.
There is no charter, no bylaws, no officers, no Grand Poobah. There is the mandate that members respect each other, and treat one another's property as they would treat their own.
I would like to acknowledge and thank the members of the Texas Outlaws Group, the NBR&N Module group, & the Free-mo.org folks. A group like ours would not be possible without their groundbreaking effort.
