The Faculty Association of California Community Colleges (FACCC) created and moderates this page to encourage a professional discussion of part-time faculty issues.



POLICY FOR POSTING ON FACCC LISTSERVS

The guiding principles of the FACCC listservs will be mutual respect and openness to a professional dialogue.

Spam, commercial messages, and derogatory remarks against a protected class (including, but not limited to, race, gender, and sexual orientation) will not be tolerated. Violators will be blocked from the list.

Since it is FACCC's express policy not to interfere with the choice of individual, local or statewide faculty leadership or affiliations, organizational criticisms shall be limited to organizational positions. Derogatory remarks against organizations or the people associated with them, or calls for resignations/disaffiliations, do not belong. When a violation of this policy occurs, FACCC will repost this policy on the listserv as a means of distancing itself from the comments, and issue a warning off the listserv to the violator. Two-time violators will be removed from the list.

FACCC will post this policy on the listserv at least once every three months.
