Welcome to the Catawba Valley Science Fiction Club. This is a local sci-fi club based in Hickory, North Carolina. Our members meet monthly to talk about science fiction television series like Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Stargate SG1 and many others. We also get together regularly for social activities, including movie nights, bowling, and cookouts to name a few.

Within our club we also have local chapters of International fan clubs, which all meet together on the same day. The USS North Carolina is our local chapter of STARFLEET International and the Battlestar Vendetta is our local chapter of the Colonial Defense Forces (CDF). We also have a chapter of the Klingon Assault Group (KAG).

Anyone interested in science-fiction is welcome to join our club, however you do get the most out of it if you are able to attend our meetings. Our meetings are currently held on the first Monday of each month at McGuire's Pub in Hickory at 7 p.m.
