The Charitable Assistance Society of Thousand-Arm Chenrezig

Hi !!
We are a group of people from the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Nanyang Polytechnic and other tertiary institutions.
Our welfare society is engaged in care and counselling for the chronically sick and visually handicapped, tuition for students from financially challenged background, professional advice for some tertiary institution, welfare societies, establishment of local cultural centers, food distribution for financially depleted families, assistance to any charity organisations and others.
We are or used to be founders, staff advisers, presidents, vice- presidents, secretaries, treasurers or active, dispensable or indispensable members of some tertiary institution, religious, cultural or welfare societies.
On a private basis, we support more than 300 over students in their education, health care and others from many places: Serajhe, Drepung Loseling, Gyudmey, Drikung Kagyu, Drukpa Lineage and Nyingma centres of education.
Another important aspect of our work is the hosting of important Teachers to Singapore for the promotion of ethical, cultural, environmental and social values.
So far, we have been most honoured to have hosted HH the 14th Dalai Lama, HH the 100th Ganden Tri Rinpoche, Lopon Tsechu Rinpoche, Gyudmey Khensur Dorje Tashi Rinpoche amongst others.
In order to keep our work less complicated and on an idealistic footing, we deliberately accumulate no landed properties, no centres, no accumulated wealth and the like.
Although not always successful, we try our best to have the purest wish to benefit all other beings.
