The Canadian Association of Professionals with Disabilities (CAPD) is
a young organisation. It became a federally incorporated non-profit
in 2003. The Canadian Association of Professionals with Disabilities
supports professionals with disabilities. CAPD is a grassroots creation.
It is based on a consumer controlled model and dedicated to social
responsibility, collaboration, innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
We believe that all people of all abilities should have the opportunity
to reach their full potential. We are also dedicated to building a
supportive and collaborative network of individuals (with and without
disabilities) and organisations who support our mandate and philosophy.
