Description
CAMA (Chicago Area Motorcyclist Association) is all about being in and enjoying the company of a bunch of moto-loving enthusisasts- it revolves around the ride but good food, just hanging out and having a good time with friends is also part and parcel of CAMA.
The ride at CAMA extends to contributing towards improving the relationship between bikers and the general public- during the weekend of 8/22/04, CAMAs played a role in supplying riders and motorcycles for the Accenture's Chicago Triathlon race in the lake front. We provided on course transport for triathlon officials and media/press as they officiated/covered the event. Our little reward was having Lake Shore Drive to ourselves for a short time and a good lunch together.
CAMA is comprised of moto enthusiasts from all walks of life and consists of a blend of sportbike riders and cruiser riders. Experience levels range from a "long time", to "just recently completed the MSF course".
In a nutshell, CAMA can be best described as "spreading the moto love" and "being the HELP's ANGELs."
