Homebrew CNC Robotics Hackers located in the San Francisco Bay Area -
Coordinate Measuring Machine Gantry, Vertical Slide & Misc.

We salvaged this inoperative CMM in order to harvest the 48" x 84" surface
plate. Now, the Boss wants the rest of it gone. These things cost $10K's
new!?

The gantry girder is 142cm x 20cm (L x D) and is fabricated mainly out of
welded 6mm steel. The gantry overall height is approximately 55 cm.

In addition, there are components for one of the guide rails, and part of a
vertical slide assembly.
