CA4RonPaul is the unofficial California eGroup of 2008 presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul of Texas. Dr. Paul, a Republican, has announced a 2008 exploratory committee. This forum exists to coordinate events for Congressman Paul's 2008 campaign in California and coordinate grassroots campaigning. This forum is MODERATED.

Ron Paul, a physician and former Air Force flight surgeon, has been a member of Congress off and on since 1976. Dr. Paul has been a principled opponent of the war in Iraq since its inception and opposes a troop surge. He supports repeal of the federal income tax and voted against the USA Patriot Act, the REAL ID Act, and No Child Left Behind.
