Critique group for aspiring writers of inspirational young adult fiction. Provides in-depth critiquing of short stories and novel chapers. Also provides online courses in writing techniques. This is the entry group, where writers at all levels help others to improve their writing skills. In addition to scheduled posting of novel chapters (or short stories) for critique, we feature courses designed to enhance understanding and skill with essential writing techniques. After the members have shown themselves to be adept at applying new skills and analyzing the work of others, they will be invited to join Group 2, where more advanced techniques will be explored and complete novels will be posted for critique. Group 1 is open to new members after approval by the moderator. Be prepared to submit a sample of your work and perform a critique on sample pages that will be sent to you.
