Burnt Oranges Inc. was founded for the purpose of funding public interactive art, providing support and venues for expression to artists and performers, and increasing public awareness and acceptance of interactive art throughout the Southeast.

Burnt Oranges currently produces two Burner events: PreHeat in April and AfterBurn in November. These events create spaces where Burners from various cultures, backgrounds, and ideologies gather to participate in a temporary community filled with interactive art, music, and radical self expression. It is a place that exists only because those that attend choose to create it and is a direct expression of their collective and diverse visions.
