This group exists for owners and prospective owners of the
Buddipole and its offspring, the
Buddistick- both commercial and homebrew versions. We will provide you with any request for information you have and invite you to join us in this down-home style group of Hams who are working with the latest designs of portable antenna systems.
The light-weight compactable Buddipole system is easily the most flexible portable antenna in the world, is capable of being configured from 160m up thru UHF and beyond. BP knows no limits and experimentation with this "Lego" antenna has not yet found its bounds. Buddipoles are in use in Iraq and Afghanistan by military personnel.
You can read about the homebrew version here...

We ask that before you post a basic question you first check the FAQs (in Database) and Files Section; likely your question has already been asked. Please keep your topic on the Buddipole system.
Please post us about your experiences, innovative ideas, performance, and other questions/comments not found in FAQs/Files/Message searches. We love to hear about each other's stations and contacts made with the BP. There have been many Buddipole DXpeditions with worldwide contacts.
We've set the BUG for required subscription approval and moderated messages to prevent spam and redundancy. We'll approve you shortly. Please sign your messages with name, location, and callsign if you have one.
