This is a group for anyone interested in Tibetan Buddhism to discuss concepts, terms, questions, and problems and to share experiences. There are lots of other lists, but if you feel that many of the discussions on them go "over your head", this is the list for you. At the same time we sometimes discuss more esoteric topics.

This list has a strict no spam policy. Announcements may be made or links posted to the group for activities sponsored by not-for-profit groups such as temples & buddhist centers, but not items for sale or advertisement. We do, however, have (separate) listings for items for sale and items to give away (in the Applications section).

We are also compiling a world-wide list of sanghas and buddhist centers. If you are seeking a local teacher or a local buddhist group, you can post that information on this website and also find others in your area looking for the same.

Members of this group also post Links and Files that provide locations/URLs of buddhist centers and websites and resources for learning more about buddhism.

Our Calendar has listings of events of interest to buddhists, e.g., monks touring the country, retreats, demonstrations, and talks.
