The neighborhood of Brightwood is located in the upper Northwest quadrant of Washington, DC. It is defined by Georgia Avenue and 16th Street to the east and west, and Kennedy Street and Aspen Street to the south and north.

The group members are Brightwood's residents, neighbors and friends who want neighborhood safety and to participate in a greater sense of community.
