I still would explore air leak issue. also,  If the wort flows too fast it will develop cavitation and make a vacuum which is even worse than a big bubble. ...

My bet would be that the cold break and hops are plugging the bazooka screen. The air bubble would be air sucked out of solution or leaked in at a hose fitting...

Try it with just plain water - if you have the same problem it is likely cavitation, possibly caused by the dropping head pressure as the kettle empties out....
