The Australian Numbat numbers have been decimated, and I am trying to begin a breeding programme on the eastern side of Australia.
Numbats are beautiful, cute, shy little furry creatures that are very vulnerable to prey. They are mostly nocturnal depending on termite activity, as this is what Numbats mostly eat. They used to be found all over Australia, but there is now only a small colony south of Perth, Western Australia.
This is horrific and while we still have them as a native animal, I would like to know YOU who are also interested and concerned. I need whatever help and advice I can attain, as I am only one.
Looking forward to meeting like-minded individuals.
